David Moody, PhD is the author of "Krishnamurti in America: New Perspectives on the Man and his Message". This full-scale biography gives special attention to the crucial events in
Krishnamurti's life that occurred in the United States, events that have been neglected or
overlooked by previous biographers. The book also describes Krishnamurti's teachings as
they have changed and developed over the course of several decades.
David previously wrote "An Uncommon Collaboration: David Bohm and J. Krishnamurti". He
served as teacher and as educational director of the Oak Grove School during its early
years, and he was appointed director of the school in the final years of Krishnamurti's life.
He holds a PhD in Education (UCLA, 1991), and he remains deeply engaged in the study of
